Police Investigating Residential Burglaries

Money and a GPS are taken from a Salina home.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of Rush after the owner of the home reported missing items.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL news the home was burglarized sometime between November 1, 2013 and April 3, 2014.

A Garman GPS system which was stored in a 2013 Dodge Dart in the residence garage was taken. Also stolen was $500 in change from the home along with two phone chargers.

Total loss is listed at $558.

Officers were also called to the 500 block of Clement in Brookville after the owner of the home returned to find his property had been entered.

Sometime between March 6 and April 6, 12 heavy duty batteries were stolen from the residence. The batteries were located outside a property shed as well as inside vehicles located at the home.

Total loss is listed at $1080.
