Police ID Man in Unattended Death

KSAL Staff - May 1, 2015 11:34 am

Salina Police release the name of the man who was found dead Tuesday afternoon in downtown Salina.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney says the body of 31-year-old Robert Allen Bade was taken to Kansas City earlier this week for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Captain Sweeney tells KSAL News that the preliminary results show no outward signs of trauma.

The Police Department is still awaiting further lab results that will reveal the cause of death.

Police say Bade was homeless in Salina.

The owner of a property at 218 S. 4th Street discovered the body lying in a lean-to shed at about 2:55pm Tuesday afternoon.

Captain Sweeney says at this time the case is being treated as an unattended death.

It sure is. So when she gets you, don’t go crying to anybody. Y’all don’t know what happened to him or why he is dead so shut your pie hole.
