Pipes Stolen from Basement Plumbing

Jeff Garretson - August 15, 2013 11:30 am

Copper pipes are cut and removed from a Salina basement.

Police say copper thieves entered a vacant rental home in the 600 block of N. 9th sometime between August 7th and August 13th and cut out 15-feet of copper plumbing from the basement.

A neighbor contacted the property owner when he noticed water running in the basement.

Police say the water damage was minimal, loss of the copper pipe is estimated at $550.

Gee yet another unsolved crime. Let’s get a new chief of police hired already and get the current one out of here.

Have you seen the people that work at some of these places? Be like having the fox looking after the chicken house.
