A wallet and cash is stolen from a car at the mall.

Salina Police are investigating a burglary and theft case, after 26-year-old Patrick Werth of Salina told officers someone entered his 2013 Subaru while it was parked at the Central Mall on S. 9th.

Werth told police he thought he locked the vehicle before heading inside the mall on Thursday morning.

Police say a wallet containing $150 cash and assorted cards and ID’s was removed from a door pocket. $300 cash was also taken from inside the car. Total loss is listed at $500.

Have you boys ever heard of shoplifting? These people leave their money and id’s in their auto’s so if they get caught they give a false name. Alot of times the stores just take back their stuff and let them go. My brother works in loss prevention at a major store so he should know what he is talking about. In this case someone got this guy.
