Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle search they had this morning.

A driver from New York was stopped by a deputy on eastbound I-70, when the deputy began to smell marijuana. When searched, the deputy found four ounces of marijuana and half an ounce of heroin in the driver’s possession.

He was arrested, as heroin possession is a felony.
