The Catholic Diocese of Salina has two new priests.

Bishop Edward Weisenberger ordained Kyle Berens of Salina and Andrew Rockers of Hays to the Order of the Priesthood at a 10 AM Mass Saturday morning in a packed Sacred Heart Cathedral. A reception followed at the Sacred Heart High School gym.

Father Berens has been assigned to the Goodland parish, while Father Rockers will begin his ministry at St. Mary’s parish in Salina.
