A Salina man is facing multiple charges after bolting from a vehicle in which he led police on a short chase.
Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 20-year-old Cameron Glover was taken into custody by officers after a truck and foot chase ended in the 1000 block of E. Ash.
The pursuit which reached speeds of 75-mph began when an officer observed Glover speeding in the 500 block of N. 9th at about 6:45pm Monday night and would not pull over.
Glover is also facing drug charges after officers found two baggies in his Dodge Ram truck with a methamphetamine residue plus one pill of a drug known as ecstasy.
Police determined a male passenger in Glover’s truck was an unwilling participant and was not charged.
