McPherson police have arrested a boy in connection with multiple cases of damage to property, and injury to a couple of people. Police allege that the boy shot an 82-year-old man and a 75-year-old man with a bb gun. In each case, the men were mowing. A bb was removed from the 82-year-old at the hospital in McPherson. The 75-year-old man did not require medical treatment. Police say that over the past 20 days there have been over 26 cases of damage from bbs reported. Damage is estimated in excess of $10,000. An investigation culminated Monday night with four juveniles being interviewed. One juvenile was arrested on charges that could include criminal damage to property and aggravated battery. The McPherson County Attorney will decide if additional charges will be filed.
