A Salina man is arrested after waving a knife at a female acquaintance.

Officers were called to a home in central-Salina on Thursday at 9:15am, after an argument turned violent.

Police arrested 48-year-old Daniel Walker of Salina, on charges of aggravated assault and criminal threat for allegedly waving a kitchen filet knife at a 44-year-old woman in the house.

Police say the woman called authorities after he threatened her.
