Man Arrested After Walmart Incident

A Delphos man was arrested Friday morning after an alleged incident at the Salina Walmart store.

Salina Police tell KSAL News that officers were sent to Wal-Mart, 2900 S. 9th, in reference an aggravated kidnapping.

They met with a 42-year-old female who reported she was shopping at Wal-Mart when she was accosted by an unknown man at knifepoint. The man started leading her to a restroom, but she pulled away and screamed. The man then punched her on the side of the face and started leaving Wal-Mart. He was confronted by the store manager and the man threatened the manager with the knife. He was seen leaving the area in a white Ford Crown Victoria.

An officer later located a vehicle matching that description in the 1300 block of Crescent. The officers were able to locate the man in a residence in the 1300 block of Crescent and arrest him at 0944. He was in possession of personal use methamphetamine.
The man was identified as Jerrid Logan, 31, of Delphos, Kansas. We are requesting charges of Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault, Battery and Possession of Methamphetamine.
