Long Island Medium Coming to Salina

The Long Island Medium is coming to Salina.

According to officials at the Salina Bicentennial Center, Theresa Caputo, psychic medium and star of the hit TLC show, Long Island Medium, will be appearing live in Salina on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:30pm.

New episodes of Long Island Medium began to air August 3rd on TLC. The highly-rated show follows Caputo’ss life as a typical Long Island wife and mom with one very big difference, she can communicate with the dead. Since she cannot “turn off” this gift, messages from departed loved ones can come through at any time. The local car mechanic, manicurist or cashier at the bagel shop may find themselves receiving a spontaneous reading from Caputo as she goes about her day. The unique challenges that her special abilities create for her husband of 22 years, Larry, and her two children, aged 20 and 24, and how they cope, are also a main theme on the show.

Caputo’s second book titled “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” is scheduled to be released September 30th. Her first book titled “There’s More to Life Than This” debuted at #2 on the NY Times Best Seller List in the fall of 2013.

Caputo has been a practicing medium for 10 years and is a certified medium with the Forever-Family Foundation, an organization dedicated to connecting science with the afterlife. She helps individuals find closure by connecting them with their departed loved ones. Learn more about her at theresacaputo.com.

Caputo will give interactive readings to audience members in Salina throughout the show and will also share personal stories about her life and her unique gifts. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 15th at 10am and can be purchased at bicentennialcenter.com, 1.888.826.SHOW, or the Bicentennial Center Box Office. Tickets start at $39.75 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a reading.
