Lindsborg Man Hurt In Western Kansas Crash

A Lindsborg man is transported to the hospital after crashing New Year’s Day on an icy western Kansas road.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 77-year-old Ronald Johnson was driving a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck, headed east on Interstate 70. He lost control on the icy road, entered the south ditch, and overturned one half times onto the truck’s top.

Johnson, who was buckled up, was transported to the hospital in Colby with possible injuries.

The crash happened at 10:50 Wedenesday morning on Interstate 70 about 3 and a half miles east of Mingo in Thomas County.
