Everyone in Salina is invited to Kansas Wesleyan University on Monday evening for the Coyotes’ Howl at the Moon Pep Rally on the campus quad. The free rally, which starts at 6:30, will be hosted by President Matt Thompson and Athletic Director Mike Hermann.

Each of the 23 KWU sports teams will be introduced, and the head coaches will say a few words. There will be a performances by the KWU Coyotes Marching Pep Band, starting its second year, and by the KWU Cheer Team and KWU Dance Team, both 2015 KCAC champions.

Arrive early and bring your appetite for a delicious barbecue dinner, sponsored by the KWU Alumni Association, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. in the Hauptli Student Center on the main floor of the Student Activities Center. Seating will be available indoors and outside on the SAC patio. The cost of the dinner is $5 per person for those not on the KWU student meal plan.

People may attend just the free Pep Rally, if they prefer.

The public is invited to join the students, families, faculty, staff, administration and KWU alumni for this special evening event to kick off the 2015-16 KWU Athletics year.
