A Salina man is arrested after an argument turns violent.

Salina Police arrested 55-year-old Clifford Rollins, after a disturbance at the Berschell Apartments on Christmas Eve.

Police allege that Rollins and 31-year-old Marcus Samilton were arguing when Rollins hit him in the back of the head with a hammer multiple times.

The victim was transported to Salina Regional Health Center where he was treated and released.

Rollins has been charged with aggravated battery.
