Multiple guns are stolen from a rural home.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft case in the 4000 block of S. Simpson Road.

William DeSilvey told deputies that he and his wife returned home to discover that a collection of hunting rifles and shotguns had been removed from a room inside their home on Tuesday sometime between 9:30am and 1pm.

Deputies say 3 rifles were taken as well as 3 pump shotguns and 2 BB air rifles.

Over 1,500 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition was also taken, plus 10-tabs of a prescription drug, a digital camera and two electric blankets.

There was no sign of forced entry but a window was found open.

Total loss is listed at $4,285.

Let’s set the bait out for these thieves and blow their butts into eternity when they come to steal. The sheriff will never catch them so we people in the county need to do the job ourselves. Then when we are done the sheriff can clean up the remains.
