A 17-year-old female is arrested after allegedly attacking a Salina man with a knife.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, officers interviewed 28-year-old Cory Lowe at Salina Regional Health Center Sunday morning.

Lowe told police he woke up in his motel room at the Village Inn, 453 S. Broadway, to find 17-year-old Taren McGaha slashing at him with a 3-inch long folding knife.

Lowe was treated for a cut to his throat and face as well as cuts to his hands and left wrist.

Police arrested McGaha at her home, 604 Washington, around 4:30am Sunday and charged her with aggravated battery.

Police say the two were acquaintances.

Remember that song I CAN GET NO SATISFACTION BY THE ROLLING STONES? Evidently she did not.

What happened to the guy who posted on here about the age differences? He said nothing wrong but KSAL pulled it. Time for them to shut down this site or get new management. I enjoy reading the protest going on with facebook maybe that is why the administration is running scared. But if they do not agree with what people are saying they should not offer an open forum.
