Friday Crash Sends Two To Hospital

Two women were transported to the hospital following a crash early Friday morning in Salina.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol ,a 2002 Ford Escort driven by 42-year-old Sherry Phillips of Salina was pulling out of the Casey’s convenience store parking lot to drive south on Ohio Street. She collided with a 2002 Ford F150 driven by 42-year-old Eric Thomason of Salina who was headed north on Ohio.

Phillips and a passenger, 41-year-old Pamela Barnett of Salina, were transported to Salina Regional Health Center with possible injuries.

Troopers say that everyone involved in the crash was properly buckled up.

The crash happened jsut before 6;00 Friday morning at the corner of Iron and Ohio in Salina.
