A Ft. Riley soldier is in serious condition following a shooting outside a bar in Junction City.
Lieutenant Jeff Childs with the Junction City Police Department says 20-year-old Jeffrey Bragg, Jr. was shot in the parking lot of Club Rose early Saturday.
Emergency responders found Bragg at a Shell Gas Station at around 2 a.m. and transported him to the Geary Community Hospital. He was later transferred to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Hospital in serious condition.
Childs says the incident is still under investigation and he encourages anyone with information to contact the JCPD at 785-762-5912 or Crime Stoppers at 785-762-TIPS (8477).
