Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at a storage building.

According to Lt. Mike Ascher, someone damaged a garage door to enter a storage building located in the 1300 block of West North Street on Thursday between 5pm and 6pm.

Deputies say a spool of welding wire valued at $500 was stolen.

Total loss and damage is estimated at $700.
