A crash involving a cow sends two people to the hospital in Abilene.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 15-year-old Allyson Neal of Longford was driving a Ford Ranger pickup truck north on K 15 Highway. She struck a cow that was on the road.
Neal and a passenger, 45-year-old Kelly Neal also from Longford, were both transported to the hospital in Abilene with possible injuries.
Troopers say that both were buckled up.
The crash happened at 1:06 Saturday morning in Dickinson County on K 15 Highway about two miles north of the junction with K 18 Highway.
