Sunshine glare may have played a role in a Sunday evening crash that injured a Saline County man.

Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander tells KSAL News that 62-year-old Greg Dupes was transported to Salina Regional Health Center around 7pm with bruises and abrasions.

Deputies say Dupes was driving a Yamaha Grizzly ATV down his driveway in the 5100 block of Farrelly Road and as he entered the road did not see an eastbound Ford pickup truck.

The Ford, driven by Michael Henry, 55 of rural Saline County rear ended the ATV, thus injuring Dupes.

No tickets in the accident have been issued.
