Counterfeit bills are found in two recent bank deposits.

Salina Police report that a counterfeit $20 bill was discovered by staff at the Sunflower Bank branch on North Santa Fe on Tuesday.

The fake bill was used to purchase food at Burger King on E. Iron. Sunflower Bank employees on South Ohio also discovered a counterfeit $100 bill on Tuesday that was used at one of the area Casey’s General Stores.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney says both incidents are under investigation.
