Christmas By Candlelight A KWU Holiday Tradition

Heralded as one of the longest running traditions at Kansas Wesleyan University, Christmas by Candlelight showcases the vocal and instrumental talents of KWU and local high school students in a magical and spiritual performance celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Sunday, December 8 will mark more than 50 years for this presentation, a night of joyful song, magic, and wonder. This year’s performance is entitled, O Magnum Mysterium – The Great Mystery.

Kansas Wesleyan will offer two performances, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with a reception between at the Hauptli Student Activity Center. A light dinner will be served, and guests will be joined by members of the KWU music department. Admission to the reception is just $15 and includes a contribution to the KWU music department.

This hallmark presentation of Christmas by Candlelight is a gift to the community, and tickets are complimentary; however, to reserve a seat, please complete the online reservation form at www.kwu.edu no later than Monday, November 25. The reception is for all to enjoy, however, reservations are recommended.
