A Salina man’s bank account is hit by thieves.

Police are investigating a fraud and theft case after someone acquired account information with corresponding routing numbers to an 84-year-old man’s checking account at First Bank Kansas on South Sante Fe Ave.

Police say someone created an electronic check payment to two different people in San Marcos, California on February 4th and 11th.

The money was then transferred to a debit card.

Total loss is listed at $1,510.
