Jeffrey Paul Davis faces charges of aggravated battery while driving under the influence in the December 20th crash in McPherson County that left Mija Stockman with a traumatic brain injury.
Mija Stockman is an elementary PE teacher in the McPherson school system. She was on her way to school on December when she was involved in a three car crash. She was first transported to the hospital in McPherson, then to Via Cristi St Francis in Wichita. She sustained a broken right ankle, a basilar skull fracture and major bleeding and swelling in her brain. Since that time, she has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.
