Busy Month For Salina’s Most Wanted

The latest list of Salina’s Most Wanted went online Saturday. Since then there have been 9 arrests.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, those arrested include:

  • Heather Wright
  • Caitlyn Jepson
  • Tammy Hyman
  • Paul Douglas Moody
  • Angela Feenstra
  • Kyle Fry
  • Jaleka Rutz
  • Jessica Sonneberger
  • Jami Swanigan

Along with the arrests, there have also been three of the warrants cancelled, thus those people are no longer on the list.

The first weekend of each month a new list of Salina’s Most Wanted is released. Those on the list this month are wanted for crimes that include child sex crimes, aggravated battery, burglary, theft, forgery, interference with a law enforcement officer, and felony drug crimes.

The January list looks a little different. In an attempt to clear up numerous outstanding warrants, an expanded list is online.

Since the Most Wanted program began back in July of 2000, thanks to tips from the public, 2,247 criminals have been caught, and 332 crime stoppers rewards have been given out.

The most wanted program was founded through the cooperation of the Salina Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the Salina Journal, and Newsradio 1150 KSAL.
