A burglar is caught red handed taking Cheetos and beer from a Salina home in the 1600 block of W. Republic.

Police arrested 31-year-old Jaun Escalante-Haros on Monday afternoon after a family returned home and allegedly witnessed Escalante-Haros exiting through a window with a bottle of beer and bag of Cheetos snacks.

Police say Escalante-Haros was easily identified by members of the household that he is related to.

He is now facing charges that include burglary and theft.
