A Salina man is arrested for an alleged rape of a 16-year-old female.

Saline County Undersheriff  Dave Dunstan tells KSAL News that the female victim recently came forward about an incident that occurred in May or June of this year in southwest Saline County.

The investigation led to the arrest of 33-year-old Michael S. Pfeifer on Friday.

Dunstan says the victim, who is not a Saline County resident and Pfeifer were acquaintances.

Pfeifer is charged with 1 count of rape for sexual intercourse without consent and use of force.
