Arrest after Laptop Stolen at SSHS

A Salina high school student is arrested after a laptop is stolen.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, officers arrested 15-year-old Tyler Kirchner, after he allegedly removed a Dell laptop computer from a classroom he was attending at South High at the end of Thursday’s last period.

Police recovered the the computer, which is valued at $700 and turned the teen over to Saline County Juvenile Services.

Big deal turned him over to juvenile services. What is wrong about putting him behind bars in Junction City? The juvenile services will just pat him on the back and let him loose again.
