Here are 5 ways to help you find your life purpose:

1. Find the activities and ideas you enjoy.

Discover the activity that gives you the most satisfaction in life. Look closely at the ideas that keep entering your thoughts. What holds your interest for an extended period of time? What do you do where time passes by unnoticed? Where hours seem like minutes?

*Your life purpose can be found in the activities and ideas that help you lose all concept of time.

2. Discover your bliss.

When you find what sends a ping of pure bliss or joy to your heart, you’ve made a priceless discovery. What were you doing or thinking when you last felt overwhelming joy? When have you felt the feeling of pure bliss, a perfect happiness, elation or ecstasy?

*Your life purpose can be found in the moments when your heart feels tremendous joy and bliss.

3. Uncover love in your life.

Look within for the love you feel for yourself. Take a close look at the love you feel for others. Do you love yourself? Do you believe in yourself? Do you feel love for others, even those you disagree with or are disagreeable? Love is what unites us all.

*Your life purpose can be found within all the moments that revolve around loving yourself and others.

4. Explore your desires.

Only you know what motivates you to seek out something or someone. What is it that you really want in your life? What do you wish you could have? Who would you like to be? How would you like to live your life?

*Your life purpose can be found in the details of your strongest desires.

5. Examine your beliefs.

Whether the focus of your beliefs is religious or spiritual, social or environmental, or of a more personal nature, review what your beliefs are. What do you believe will help you feel fulfilled? What are you most interested in putting out into the world. What part of yourself and your life would you like to share with others?

*Your life purpose can be found in the personal beliefs that hold your interest and drive your actions.

How do you know if you’re on the right track with living your life purpose?

You’ll know you’re on the right track toward living your life purpose when what you set to action brings you feelings of joy and fulfillment. You’re on the right track if you’re filled with feelings of ease and love.

If things feel too hard, too difficult, or too pressured, you may still be on the right track, but the timing may be off. Ease into your life purpose and let the journey unfold. Trust that if it feels “right,” it is the “right” time and the “right” path for you. Let feelings of goodwill be your guidepost.
