A former Wal-Mart employee was arrested on theft charges.

Salina Police report that 20-year-old Xavier Allen was taken into custody on Friday after an investigation revealed that between September 27 and October 19, he had allegedly taken $1,194.85 in cash from the register while he was working at the store located at 2900 S. 9th.
