Wichita will add 40 jobs

Wichita will add 40 jobs through the closure of a Honeywell Aerospace avionics repair shop in suburban Cleveland. The Wichita Eagle reports that the jobs will be moved to Honeywell’s service center at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. Honeywell spokesman Scott Sayres says the openings are primarily for electronic technicians. But a few openings are for support positions, including material handlers, quality and integrated supply chain supervisors.
