Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary.

Officers were called to the 300 block of E. Claflin, after the homeowner returned to find that his house had been broken into and electronics were stolen.

Police say someone shattered a basement window to gain entry sometime at noon between July 4th and 1pm on the 6th. Once inside, thieves removed a 42-inch LCD television and a blue ray player.

Total loss and damage is listed at $1,300.
