Salina Police are investigating a burglary and theft case after numerous tools and a car are taken from a garage.

Police say a padlock was broken on a garage in the the 700 block of S. Santa Fe sometime between Sunday night at 6pm and Monday Morning at 9am.

Once inside, someone removed numerous construction tools, power tools and tool boxes.

Police say a 1998 Ford Escort, valued at $100 was also stolen.

Total loss and damage is listed at $2,400
