Task Force Makes Arrest

Meth and cash are seized after the Drug Task Force searches a home.

According to Task Force Commander Lt. Jim Norton, agents used a search warrant on Wednesday morning at 124 W. Kerwin and found evidence of a methamphetamine sales operation run by the resident.

Police arrested 29-year-old Lewis D. Forester, after finding a small amount of personal use meth, pipes and digital scales.

Police also confiscated a .380 pistol and $2,643 in suspected drug proceeds. Three illegal pit bulls were also removed.

Police say Forester is facing multiple charges that could include possession of an opiate or narcotic, and criminal possession of a firearm by a felon.
