An unoccupied home was broken into in Gypsum.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after burglars entered a home in the 700 block of Hawkes in Gypsum sometime between July 2 and October 23 and removed a Maytag washer/dryer valued at $4,000.

Also stolen was a 42-inch flat screen TV, gas grill, kids Corvette bed and a Chicago Bears scoreboard clock.

Owner Heather Cabrera also told deputies that someone removed the double doors on her refrigerator, but left the appliance behind on the porch.
