Power Tools Stolen

Five chainsaws are stolen from a work truck.

Police are investigating a theft case, after being contacted by a Salina man who had multiple chain saws removed from his pickup.

Police say sometime between 6am and 7:30am Thursday, someone unlocked a cargo storage box on a truck owned by Cody Steele, and stole 5 chainsaws. The vehicle was parked in the 1600 block of W. Crawford at the time.

The inventory include 3 Stihl, 1 Jonsered and 1 Husqvarna chainsaw.

Total loss is listed at $1,550.
