Ronald “Ron” Earl Ash

Ronald “Ron” Earl Ash, age 76, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on December 27, 2025. He was born April 1, 1949, in Lindsborg, Kansas, as a twin, to Earl and Gloria Ash.

Ron proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy Seabee during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he worked in various fields before retiring from UPS with more than fifteen years of dedicated service

He loved life’s simple pleasures and could often be found on the riverbank chasing catfish or working in his shop.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Elnora Ash and Earl McCoy Ash, and by his twin brother, Donald “Donnie” Ash of Salina, Kansas.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie (Emig, Call) Ash, of the home; his daughter, Stephanie Lynn (Ash) Bell, and her husband, Glen, of Raytown, Missouri; three stepchildren: Josh Call and Jessica Call, both of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jamie Campbell (Jeramie) of San Francisco, California; Ron was blessed with two grandchildren, Sean Hamilton (Eryn) of Springfield, Missouri, and Jessika Ferguson (Brandon) of Holden, Missouri; along with six great-grandchildren who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Lynn Wilson (Ron) of Salina, Kansas, and Lori Baxter (Mike Dipman) of Lindsborg, Kansas; his brother, Steve Ash (Nancy) of Douglass, Kansas; and his sister-in-law, Pat (Emig) Cosby (Mark) of Salina, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at New Community Christian Church, 530 E. Cloud Street, Salina, Kansas.

A private family burial will take place.

Ron will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, humor, and love for God and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
