Lyle served his country in the United States Army, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving overseas in 1969. Upon return, he continued on the farm, also working in many places including Courtland/Pike Valley School, Coca-Cola, C&W Farm Supply and CVA to name a few. He will be remembered for his faith, his love of the land, his generous spirit, his work ethic and drive, and the love he poured into his family, community, and country. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the values he instilled.
