LaDonna Marie Stout

LaDonna Marie Stout, aged 91, passed away on May 12, 2025.  Born on August 31, 1933, in Pratt, Kansas. LaDonna lived a long and meaningful life centered around family, creativity, and her community. Her unwavering roots and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth Stout and their son Bill Stout. The love they shared continues to live on through the family; LaDonna nurtured and the memories she created with them.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Steve Stout and his wife Charlene, Dave Stout and his wife Alicia, and Kenneth ‘Brad’ Stout and his wife Shelia.  LaDonna’s legacy extends through generations including 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

LaDonna had a talent for creating beauty through her hand work. What started as a hobby at the age of nine became a cherished tradition passed down through three generations. Her handmade quilts, scarves, and gifts were not just items but symbols of her love and presence. She will be remembered for her hand work and the hours of volunteering for the Salina Regional Health Center and similar organizations.

Known for her humor and lightheartedness, LaDonna brought comfort to those around her with her quick wit and infectious smile. Her laughter filled every room she entered making others feel at ease.

Even in her later years LaDonna continued to touch lives with her kindness and gentle strength. Her warmth and ability to connect with others remained undiminished.

LaDonna’s life was a testament to love, humor, creativity, and dedication. Her ability to make others feel welcome, loved, and appreciated resonates to this day.

In accordance with LaDonna’s wishes a graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Roselawn Memorial Park located at 1920 E Crawford, Salina.

May LaDonna’s memory be a blessing as her laughter resonates in the hearts of those who carry her love forward.
