Those in the area in search of a job, or maybe a career change, attended an event at the Salina Central Mall on Tuesday.

Over 40 area employers set up booths, accepted applications and resumes, and talked with prospective employees.

Those in search of jobs also had an opportunity to get a little extra help. KansasWORKS had their mobile unit on site. Job seekers were able to complete online applications, and also get help with their resumes and job-search hints.

Along with businesses seeking help, Salina Family Healthcare was at the event to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act enrollment process.

The employment expo, sponsored by OCCK in Salina, is the area’s largest annual job fair.
