Hospital Ribbon Cutting

KSAL StaffJune 24, 2013
Abilene’s new Memorial Hospital is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 29.

The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting celebration for Memorial Hospital, 511 NE 10th St in Abilene, this coming Saturday. The ceremony will be held under the hospital’s front canopy.

Senator Jerry Moran will deliver remarks which will be followed by guided tours of the new building. Tours will be offered from approximately 9:45 to 11:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served in the hospital lobby.

Memorial Health System began the construction project for the new 25-bed hospital in November 2011. The $24 million project includes the renovation of the old facility into clinical office space. The completion of the renovation project is scheduled for August 2014.
