A special health fair event will be held in Salina this weekend.
Special Olympics Kansas is holding a health fair and screening event this Saturday for those with disabilities.

Organizers says that those attending can learn caregiver tips, get information about healthy communities, and discover local health opportunities. There will also be free health screenings for hearing, dental health, and a health assessments.

Participating organizations include:
Kansas State University Speech and Language Pathology Department
Salina Technical College Dental Hygiene Program
University of Kansas Medical School Student Society and
Kansas Wesleyan Nursing School Department
Subway
YMCA
Salina Parks and Recreation
Amerigroup

The health fair and screening event is this Saturday at Salina South Middle School from 10am-2pm.
