Car Dented

A car is damaged in downtown Salina.

Police are investigating vandalism to a 2002 Lexus that was in a parking lot in the 100 block of N.5th.

The vandalism occurred sometime between August 31 at 4pm and September 1st at 10:30am.

The owner contacted SPD on September 12th, after learning he needed to make a police report as part of the insurance claim process.

Police say the car had three dents in the driver’s side, the biggest about the size of a basketball.

Damage is estimated at $1,200.
