Arrest Made in Damage to Property Case

Salina Police are investigating the theft of some construction equipment from a residential area.

A Salina man is arrested after several vehicles are damaged at a store’s parking lot.

Officers were called to Wal-Mart, 2900 S. 9th around 2:30am Monday morning, after a man was observed scratching vehicles in the parking lot.

Police arrested 36-year-old Matthew Storrer, of Salina on charge of damage to property. Damage to three cars and two trucks is estimated at $1,500.

Police say he also entered Wal-Mart and punctured containers of paint, oil and some water jugs.
