Four people are hurt in a head-on crash east of Salina Friday afternoon.
Saline County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Trostle tells KSAL News that a passenger car was headed east on Magnolia. The driver activated his turn signal, and went to make a left hand turn to head north on Simpson Road. He swerved into the lane of oncoming traffic as he went to make the turn and crashed head-on into an oncoming pickup truck.
Both drivers and a single passenger in each vehicle were hurt. All four were were tranported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Trostle says that neither driver was buckled up, but both passengers were.
The crash happened just after 3:30 Friday afternoon.
