He is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Jan) and Richard (Vickie), and his sister-in-law, Marge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lena Roelofsen; his brother, Roger; and his best friend, Ron Thompson.
Randy loved fishing and hunting with his sons, and he was known for asking Lisa what was for dinner at 10:00 am. He enjoyed chatting with his daughter during school pick-up. He also loved the thrill of the chase when it came to buying equipment, always on the lookout for the next good find. Affectionately called “Ran-dog” by those close to him, he had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued.
Randy will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. He had the most fun watching others have fun, and he was always willing to give someone a chance—especially those who were down on their luck. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the business and community he helped build.
