Kansas is banning the use of kratom products.

The measure signed into law by Governor Laura Kelly on Friday amends the Uniform Controlled Substances Act to put Seven-OK kratom-related substances into a Schedule One designation.

The change means the substance has a high potential for abuse and no accepted medical use.
