Jill is a functional special education (FLC) teacher at South Middle School. She has been teaching for 24 years, all with Salina Public Schools. Jill was inspired to become a teacher while in college when observing at Heusner Elementary. She fell in love with special education after the visit and felt a calling to work with students who have developmental disabilities. Her favorite part of teaching is creating and providing structured activities, lessons and environments for students to watch them learn and grow within our FLC program. A fun fact about Jill is that she loves being an FLC teacher and has found her true calling in it.
