A man is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Wichita.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 23-hundred-block of North Woodlawn Street early yesterday morning and encountered a man who threatened to shoot police.

The man exited the apartment with a gun and pointed it at an officer, who then shot the suspect.

The suspect later died at a hospital, and the incident is under investigation.
